Yun-Tzu Chang

Yun-Tzu was born in Taiwan and began dancing at the age of 7. She attended Taipei University of the Arts, SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance where she received her Bachelors of Fine Art Degree and New York University, Steinhardt and received her Master’s of Arts in Dance Education in American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Ballet Pedagogy and Pre-K-12 tracks. In addition, Yun-Tzu has a Dance Educator certificate credited by The Pulse on Tour. She continues her professional development by taking classes in NYC and is a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO).

Yun-Tzu has danced professionally in New York and New Mexico with international experiences touring around Taiwan and Japan. She also travelled to Uganda with the Dance Education program at NYU to learn, teach and perform traditional Ugandan Dances and drumming. 

She has taught at the NYU Steinhardt’s Summer Dance Intensive, American Ballet Theatre Bridge Class Summer Intensive, University of New Mexico, William Paterson University, Sacred Heart University and in the New York City public and private schools. She was the director of Dance at the Brooklyn Music School and MUSE Academy.

Yun-Tzu is currently a Dance Educator with the NYCDOE and forever a dancer at heart.
